Tristan started in motion graphics and visual effects for television and film, then pioneered 360° filmmaking and VR experiences — spatial storytelling about science, nature, and the human experience using photogrammetry, Unreal Engine, and scientific visualization.
His AI work began in 2019 with generative image models, featured in the National Computer History Museum and grant-funded by the Canadian government. In 2023, he built ORBI — a mixed reality AI assistant you could talk to in VR — recognized with a Canadian Screen Award and a W3 Award for Visual Effects. That led to an AI pilot for a dental network, which became the playbook for Northcast.
